    Xi Jinping’s people-centered theory inherits and develops Mao Zedong’s view of people. The people-centered theory insists on the people-centered value in all fields of the governance of the country, while it inherits Mao Zedong’s view of people in such aspects as sticking to the people’s subjectivity, sticking to the people’s status as the history creators and sticking to the philosophical thinking mode of contradictory dialectics, and it even develops Mao Zedong’s view of people in such areas of the new subjects and new ideas for the people’s welfare, the new cognition and new methods in carrying out the mass line, and so on. This theory has integrated Marxist universal principles with China’s concrete national conditions, and has become the ideological weapon for the Chinese Communist Party to lead the Chinese people to manage the state affairs. While carrying forward the genetic advantages of Chinese civilization and people-oriented doctrines of Chinese tradition, it has enriched the scientific socialist theory and has gone through practical tests and will continue to undergo practical tests.

    To discuss and summarize the challenge and contribution of the practice of China’s reform and opening-up to the mainstream economic theory, it is necessary to choose the four correct methodologies as the perspective, i.e., “not just following the theory”, “not just following the classics”, “linking theory with practice”, and “practice being the sole criterion for testing truth”; only in this way, can we find the differences and similarities between the five classical economic theories implied in the practice of reform and opening-up. This paper summarizes the challenge and theoretic contributions of China’s reform and opening-up to the mainstream economic theory from the following six aspects: the role of government in the process of economic development, the organization mode of government combining fiscal decentralization and the mechanism of promotion through tournament, the state governance mode of vertical central authority with horizontal fiscal federation, the gradual economic and market-oriented reform path, the motive logic of development of forced reform by opening-up, and the gradually extended economic activities in the regions and space. It is necessary to recognize objectively the theoretic contributions made by the practice of reform and opening-up and the position in the history of economic thoughts or in the history of economic theories.

    In the past four decades of reform and opening-up, the practice of reforming the income distribution system has provided a rich soil for the exploration and innovation of the income distribution theory. With the magnificent reform and opening-up, the socialist income distribution theory with Chinese characteristics has been developed and innovated; and a great number of theoretical explanations, academic viewpoints and policy options have been formed with the spirit of the times and from the practice of reform and opening-up, which reflects the historical process of Sinicization of Marx’s income distribution theory. According to the method of combining historical analysis with logical deduction, this paper summarizes the socialist income distribution theory with Chinese characteristics from the three historic periods, i.e., bringing order out of chaos for the income distribution theory, breaking through and exploring the income distribution theory, and innovating and developing the income distribution theory. Then it points out the prospect of the income distribution theory with Chinese characteristics from such perspectives as the development of social productivity, being people-oriented and justice, the reform of ownership structure, the target model of the market economic system reform, emancipating the mind and keeping one’s feet on the ground, etc..
    A Study of the Impact of Biased Strata Perception on the Preference for Redistribution and Happiness

    There usually exists bias between the object strata status and the subject strata perception. Based on the data of Chinese Society Comprehensive Survey, this paper adopts the latent class analysis method to generate the object social strata from the three aspects of income, occupational prestige and education level. Then it investigates the impact and action mechanism of the biased perceptions of strata on the preference for redistribution and happiness. The findings show that, compared with the consonant perception of strata, the downward (upward) bias of strata perception has a positive (negative) effect on the preference for redistribution, and the downward (upward) bias of strata perception has a negative (positive) effect on the happiness. When the possible endogeneity problems that are caused by left-out explaining variables and self-selection are relieved as much as possible, this finding is still robust. The results of further investigation show that the sense of fairness and views of effort and luck are not only the factors influencing the preference for redistribution, but also the important channels through which biased status perception influences preference for redistribution.
    An Analysis of the Evolution of Land Cost of Agricultural Production in China and Its Impact

    In the increasingly open market pattern, great changes have been taken place both in the internal structure and in the external structure of Chinese agriculture. Thus, to develop moderate scale agriculture has become the focus at present. With the promotion of the moderate scale operation in the principal way of land transfer, the land cost problem is appearing. In 2016, land cost in Jiangsu Province rose to 557.5 yuan/mu and land transfer price rose to 791.1 yuan/mu, while the level of land cost of Japan’s rice and wheat farmer households that has the similar resource endowment is presenting a decreasing trend. Further empirical results show that the land cost has an inverted “U” shape effect on the efficiency of wheat planting technology. When the total cost of land exceeds 477.71 yuan/mu or the seasonal wheat land cost is more than 225.57 yuan/mu, the increasing land cost will further damage the competitiveness of the wheat industry. In the future, the Chinese government may explore various ways to realize the moderate scale operation and establish land transfer compliance insurance system to promote the sustainable development of moderate scale operation.

    With the development of information technology, the entrepreneurs of all the countries around the world are increasingly using the means of Internet to carry out start-up financing. The entrepreneurs, investors and other entrepreneurial related stakeholders are also inclined to use Internet to create brand-new social network models; entrepreneurs’ online social behaviors by means of Internet social media are increasingly becoming the key to successful financing. At the same time, compared with other types of entrepreneurial projects, agricultural entrepreneurship projects have strong traits in social network communication and social network behavior effects, its social behavior strategies should be significantly different from that of other types of projects. How to give full play to the agricultural entrepreneurs’ advantages in social network and improve the entrepreneurial financing performance under the conditions of Internet financing and network social behaviors has become an important research topic in economics and management science. Therefore, this paper collects 7585 entrepreneurial projects through entrepreneurial crowdfunding on the Internet crowdfunding websites; by using the propensity score matching method, it explores the impact mechanism of social network social behaviors of entrepreneurial leaders in agricultural start-ups on the financing performance, and the related adjustment effect is also verified. At last, it proposes some strategy suggestions for the agricultural entrepreneurs in the process of entrepreneurial financing to apply in their corresponding social network social behaviors.

    In order to explore how to establish an effective supervision mechanism so as to make the PPP service of the pension industry develop with high quality, this paper breaks the previous studies with single variable and attempts to introduce multiple variables such as public participation level, reputation, government subsidies and punishments to establish an evolutionary game model among the three sides of private sector, third party and government department. Through analyzing the factors affecting the strategy selection of each side and the evolution, this paper establishes the conditions for the behavior strategies of all parties tending to stabilize and simulates the “ideal state” in the game results by means of Matlab. The results show that under the constraints of such factors as reputation, government subsidies and punishments, when the level of public participation is high, the third party tends to perform evaluation duties and the private sector tends to improve the quality of service even if the government departments are negatively regulated; however, when the level of public participation is low, the evolution trend of the behavior of any party is closely related to the strategy choices of the other two parties. It will help to achieve the “ideal goal” of the high-quality development of PPP services in the pension industry if we can establish a reputation mechanism and a punishment mechanism, improve the current public participation mechanism and government subsidy mechanism, and combine the four to form a multi-dimensional supervision.

    Mastering the changing trend and characteristics of the well-being of the elderly is of great value to improve the level of residents’ old-age security. Based on the data of Chinese Longitudinal Health and Longevity Survey (CLHLS), this paper makes use of the hierarchical growth curve model to test the age effect and cohort differences of subjective well-being of the elderly. The results show that, firstly, the relationship between the age and subjective well-being of the elderly presents a “U”shape curve distribution, while the elderly are gradually“losing”their health and social and family roles, they are“gaining”stronger emotional regulation ability; secondly, there exists a significant cohort difference in the subjective well-being of the elderly, the elderly would have a lower mental health level and life satisfaction if their birth cohort is during the ages of turmoil and famine; thirdly, there exist gender differences and urban-rural differences in the age effects of subjective well-being of the elderly, along with the increase of age, the gender differences and urban-rural differences in the subjective well-being of the elderly have a trend of widening. Finally, such factors as positive lifestyles, living with other family members, intergenerational support from children, socio-economic support and community-based care services will all contribute to the improvement of the subjective well-being of the elderly.

    With the hand collected data of Party organization embedment and taking the legality as the theoretical basis, this paper empirically tests the impact of Party organization embedding on corporate environmental information disclosure. The findings show that: (1) compared to the enterprises with no-Party organizations embedding, the enterprises with Party organizations embedding have a higher level of environmental information disclosure; (2) Party organizations embedded both in the board of directors and in the board of supervisors can all significantly improve the level of corporate environmental information disclosure, but the Party organization embedded in the management cannot significantly promote corporate environmental information disclosure; (3) the level of environmental information disclosure of the enterprises with Party organizations embedding will be greatly improved in the areas where interviews concerning environmental protection issues have been appointed. It is found through the survey of the influencing factors that when the environmental system is better and the quality of internal control is higher, the positive impact of Party organization embedding on corporate environmental information disclosure is more significant. Through channel exploration it is also found that Party organization embedding can enhance corporate environmental information disclosure by improving environmental values and environmental policy compliance. The conclusions of this paper provide useful enlightenment for the improvement of the Party organization embedded mechanism and the enterprise environmental information disclosure system.

    In the social domain, the development of electronic information technology has given birth to Weibo and WeChat, leading us into the era of we-media. The rapid growth of E-government WeChat based on the platform of WeChat reconstructs the relationship between government and the public, at the same time, it also promotes the transformation of social governing modes. The public account of“Shanghai News Release”has become one of the top government WeChat in China within only five years, which results from its relatively perfect front-end structure and back-end structure. As a newly sprouted thing, its function is limited: the citizen appealing function being absent, technical services to be optimized, and the cross-sector and cross-platform synergy to be improved. In order to realize the function of “technology absorbing politics”, the E-government WeChat not only has to improve the technology but also to optimize the policy making process through the setting of political agenda. Meanwhile, it is necessary to transform the state power into basic power, transform the government concepts and mechanisms into service-oriented governments; in addition, the leaders should have the strategic vision and a tolerant and open-minded attitude towards online public opinion.
    An Exploration of China’s Participation Path and Specific Strategy in International Legislation on Financial Institution’s Social Responsibility in the New Era

    International legislation on social responsibility of financial institutions includes the inter-state legislation, which takes a state as the subject, and the private government legislation, which emerges upon negotiation among non-state actors. Therefore, China’s participation in the international legislation on social responsibility of financial institutions shall follow the parallel paths of participation by the state as the subject and participation by the financial institutions as the subject. The former requires a legislative method of a package game or early harvest and a legislative model of bilateral, regional and multilateral multi-thread advancement; while the latter is mainly reflected in a kind of strategy of gradual participation. There is a positive correlation of mutual affecting between the two. In terms of specific strategies, China shall transform from active participation in the past into laying equal stress on participating rules and dominating rules, and actively speak out China’s opinion through constructing or participating in relevant inter-state legislation?and private government legislation.

    The absence of the procedure rules of China’s trust registration has greatly affected the development of the trust industry, thus it needs a systematic design. In terms of comparison, the procedure rules of trust registration in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, which are similar to those in China, are of great significance for reference and should be fully referred to. As for the establishment of trust registration institutions, we should adopt the mode of “decentralized registration in nature, unified window in form” in the short and medium term, while in the long term, we should carry out the unified trust registration along with the formation of unified property registration institutions in China. As for the application for trust registration, we should fully adopt the mature rule of comparative method that is “joint application as the principle and separate application as the exception”. The review of trust registration should put aside the dispute between abstract formal review and substantive review, and be problem-oriented. The design and implementation of the trust registration application and review rules should consider linking up with the existing registration system and promote it in a“gradual”way.
