The political geographical framework of the Chinese path to modernization is rich in connotation, characterized by: a regional coordinated development model of“a unified chessboard across the nation”as a key cornerstone, border security governance and development as a strategic safeguard, safeguarding core national interests and managing neighborhood relations as practical considerations, expanding and mitigating political geographical spaces for cooperation as a solid support, and upholding the vision of a shared future for mankind as the highest aspiration. This framework exhibits distinct features, including the synchronous resonance of historical and contemporary rhythms, the interplay between grounding in national conditions and perceiving global dynamics, the organic unity of constancy and evolution, and the interdependence of struggle and peaceful development.
