On the Management System Reform of Salt Industry in the 1960s and Its Implications

Abstract: In the 1960s, the management system of China’s salt industry went through a reform mainly in the form of trust. This is an important attempt to explore the corporate management system with Chinese characteristics, which realized some optimized reforms at such aspects as management levels of salt industry, the inside operation of salt industry and corporate management for large and medium-sized salt enterprises. Though that management system reform made some achievements, there still existed some shortcomings, which may have a certain significance of reference and implications for the reform of salt industry management system under today’s socialist market economic system.
