Abstract: Since the founding of New China, the regional development strategy has been following Marxist development view of dialectical materialism in general. As for the theory concerning the two sectors of urban and rural areas, the development law of urban and rural areas is the gradient process from the un-separated urban and rural areas to the separation of the two and then to the integration between them. Marxist regional development view grows out of Marxist geopolitical thoughts and the view of regional equity, which can provide a source of thoughts for the current regional fair development and regional difference renovation. The four regional development strategy transformation since the founding of New China can reflect the evolution law of regional development, which can provide evidences for the formation of the regional development view of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics. Based on the dynamic operation law of regional value, the structural reform of the supply side through the regional policies can promote the regional innovation and the synergetic development and can offer a prospect for the regional development of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics.
