Abstract: The ecological civilization view of socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics is the world outlook and methodology to guide and coordinate the relationship between man and nature. To interpret thoroughly its generation, evolution and epoch connotation is helpful for us to speed up the construction of ecological civilization in China and to promote the innovation and development of Marxist political economics with Chinese characteristics. Taking the theoretical construction of socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics as the main line, this paper tries to interpret the theoretical logic of the generation and evolution of the ecological civilization view, and to explore the practice course of the harmonious and unified relationship between man and nature and society. Based on the new concepts, new ideas and new strategy of governing the country put forward by the Party Central Committee since 18th National Congress of CPC, it interprets the epoch connotations of the ecological civilization view, such as the cardinal standpoint, the value orientation, the basic orientation and direct power, the realistic path and intrinsic requirements, the strategic knob, the fundamental means, and so on.
