Abstract: The definition of the exclusive right is the prerequisite condition for the property right to play a role. The existing farmland property right system in China has a property structure of weak exclusiveness. Under such a system, fierce property conflicts would be generated from the hunting for rights and interests by each party involved. In order to eliminate the property conflicts under the weak exclusive property right, the institutional changes of farmland property right should ensure the exclusive right to be the core of such changes.
