数字经济赋能制造业产业链韧性:多维机制与空间溢出

The Resilience of the Manufacturing Industry Chain Enabled by Digital Economy: Multi-Dimensional Mechanism and Space Spillover

摘要: 提高制造业产业链韧性和安全水平不仅是构建新发展格局的必然需要,也是构建中国特色现代化经济体系的核心内容。基于2012—2022年中国地级市面板数据,探究数字经济对制造业产业链韧性提升的作用路径及空间效应。研究发现:第一,数字产业化通过数字技术推动数据价值链的深化,产业数字化则通过强化传统产业的基础能力,二者共同驱动制造业产业链的现代化升级。第二,数字经济对制造业产业链韧性的正向影响呈边际效应递增的非线性特征,表明“梅特卡夫法则”在制造业产业链韧性升级中的适用性。第三,数字经济通过产业协同集聚效应和技术创新效应提高制造业产业链韧性。第四,数字经济对制造业产业链韧性具有正向的空间溢出效应。因此,应围绕数字经济的外部溢出效应优化产业链改革政策,以技术创新和产业协同集聚为重点,分类施策,推动制造业产业链的韧性和自主可控能力进一步提升。

Abstract: Improving the resilience and safety level of the manufacturing industrial chain is not only the need to build a new development pattern, but also the core content of constructing a modern economic system with Chinese characteristics. Based on the panel data of prefecture level cities in China from 2012 to 2022, this study explores the role and spatial effects of the digital economy in enhancing the resilience of the manufacturing industry chain. The findings show that, firstly, digital industrialization has driven the deepening of the data value chain through digital technology, and the digitization of industries has strengthened the basic capabilities of traditional industries through the use of digital technology, jointly driving the modernization and upgrading of the manufacturing industry chain. Secondly, the positive impact of the digital economy on the resilience of the manufacturing industry chain exhibits a non-linear characteristic of increasing marginal effects, indicating that the “Metcalfe's Law”is fully applicable in upgrading the resilience of the manufacturing industry chain. Thirdly, the digital economy can improve the resilience of the manufacturing industry chain by strengthening the synergistic agglomeration effect and enhancing the technological innovation effect of industries. Fourthly, the digital economy has a positive spatial spillover effect on the resilience of the manufacturing industry chain. Therefore, policies for industrial chain reform should be optimized around the external spillover effects of the digital economy, with a focus on technological innovation and industrial synergy agglomeration. Policies should be classified and implemented to further enhance the resilience and independent controllability of the manufacturing industry chain.
