Abstract: Since the formulation in 2009, the strategic emerging industries of Jiangxi Province have undergone remarkable development and offered significant contribution to the advancement of provincial industries and economy. Nevertheless, as all the provincial strategic emerging industries in China are formulated within a unified national framework, the phenomenon of industrial isomorphism is serious, which inevitably leads to rather fierce competition. This paper analyzes the competitive edge and the competitive power of the prominent strategic emerging industries in Jiangxi from multiple levels and perspectives, specifies their status in the central region as well as the entire country, and puts forward targeted suggestions and measures for enhancing the competitiveness of Jiangxi strategic emerging industries.
